This Shipping & Return Policy applies to purchases made through Art of Ronin. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below, as well as our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Shipping & Production Time

Many Art of Ronin products are printed, prepared, or fulfilled after an order is placed. Please allow up to approximately three weeks for printing, preparation, and shipment processing, unless a different timeframe is stated on the product page or confirmed in writing. Domestic orders may often arrive sooner, but delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. International orders may take longer due to customs, carrier delays, destination-country processing, or other factors outside of our control.

Shipping Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Art of Ronin is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, returned packages, lost shipments, or additional shipping costs caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable customer-provided addresses. If an order is returned to Art of Ronin due to an address issue, failure to claim, refusal, unpaid customs fees, or inability to deliver, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping and handling costs before the item is reshipped.

Carrier Delays, Lost Packages, and Marked-Delivered Orders

Once an order is transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery timing, tracking updates, handling, and final delivery are largely outside Art of Ronin’s control. If a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, Art of Ronin will generally consider the order fulfilled. Art of Ronin is not responsible for theft, misplaced packages, mailroom issues, incorrect carrier delivery, or packages left unattended after delivery. Upon request, Art of Ronin may provide available order records, tracking information, shipment confirmation, or delivery confirmation to assist with a carrier investigation.

Weather, Heat, Moisture, and Delivery Exposure

Fine art prints and specialty paper can be sensitive to sunlight, heat, rain, moisture, humidity, bending, crushing, and prolonged outdoor exposure. Customers are responsible for making appropriate delivery arrangements, especially in areas with extreme heat, rain, snow, humidity, theft risk, or exposed delivery locations. Art of Ronin is not responsible for damage caused after delivery by weather exposure, sun exposure, moisture, improper handling, failure to promptly retrieve a package, unsafe delivery location, or improper storage.

Damaged Items

Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery.

If an item arrives damaged, contact Art of Ronin within [insert number] days of delivery at theartofronin@gmail.com and include clear photos of:

  • the damaged item;

  • the exterior packaging;

  • the interior packaging;

  • the shipping label;

  • any visible carrier damage.

Art of Ronin may, at its discretion, offer a replacement, partial credit, refund, or other resolution for confirmed damage that occurred before delivery. Damage caused after delivery, including weather exposure, mishandling, trimming, framing, storage, or customer alteration, is not eligible for refund or replacement.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Because Art of Ronin is an art, print, and creative services business, all sales are generally final unless otherwise stated in writing.

Refunds, returns, or exchanges are not provided for:

  • buyer’s remorse;

  • incorrect size selection;

  • failure to read the product description;

  • failure to select the correct print version or color variation;

  • paper-type preference;

  • border, bleed, or margin preference;

  • monitor or screen color differences;

  • custom orders;

  • commissioned work;

  • special-order prints;

  • limited items;

  • digital goods;

  • services already rendered;

  • delivery issues caused by customer error.

Order cancellations may only be accepted if requested before printing, production, fulfillment, or shipment has begun. Once work has started, Art of Ronin may deny cancellation or retain all or part of the payment to cover work already performed, materials, processing fees, and administrative costs.

Print Versions, Borders, and Custom Sizes

Some prints may include borders, bleed, or margin space to preserve the intended image size and presentation. Art of Ronin is not responsible for trimming, framing, matting, or removing excess border or bleed unless that service is specifically purchased and confirmed in writing.

If a print has multiple versions, colors, or variations, the customer is responsible for selecting or identifying the desired version at the time of purchase. If no version is selected, Art of Ronin may fulfill the order using the base, default, standard, or artist-selected version.

Custom sizes or special print requests are not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing before production.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, VAT, tariffs, brokerage fees, import fees, or other destination-country charges. Art of Ronin is not responsible for customs delays, import restrictions, refused shipments, confiscated packages, unpaid duties, or returned international orders caused by destination-country requirements.
